untitled

woah its been a month since my last post, yeah been very busy with work and sewing stuff. During those period actually i was sewing 2 outfits, one is for formal occasion and one is for daily use.

In the mean time I sewed those outfit actually i learned alot, and also trying new things that i have not done before. Normally, i like to sew skirt just normal basic skirt which is super easy and there is no special technique needed unless if i want to sew pockets.

What i learned in the past month was to sew lining and tidy up my sewing skill, as I am a beginner sewer most of the time my sewing is slightly messy. also i tried to sew type of collars ^^

i am going to post what i have done and outfits that i made in the past month at the following post. so stay tune

this is the note to myself to improve better sewing:
1. always iron as you go. this is the most important thing that a lot of pro sewers in youtube said and yes i completely agree with that. without ironing the seams, it will be completely messy especially in the finishing
2. we cant always use our sewing machine to sew our outfits especially when we apply lining and stuff. when there is hand stitches needed just use it.
3. Using interfacing tape for hemming is absolutely awesome, it will create crisp edges. the interfacing i use called "viselin" over here, it is slightly thin with adhesive so you can just press it to stick it to the fabric.Normally i buy it like in fabric size 1,5m x 1m and i cut it to a tape size.
